Greetings to all!!
After living in Hawaii for a year, I have come to realize that there is one resounding problem. There is NOT ENOUGH information for families PCSing to the island! I decided to start an active blog that will help give families and people moving to Hawaii (Oahu specifically) navigate the treacherous world of moving to an island in the middle of nowhere.
I hope to touch on topics such as but not limited to:
- moving cars!
- moving with pets
- Housing
- low cost activities to do on the island
- family friendly activities on the island
- Fun tourist activities to indulge in
- Day to day Army life
- Support groups
- Even a little about day to day life just living in Hawaii, it's culture and what to expect
I would also be more than happy to personally answer any questions that someone might have in the moving process.
Hopefully, this blog will help benefit others making their move easier. Look for my in depths post to start as soon as possible!
